August 9, 2009 - Grenada Repackages Tourism Web Site

Miami, Florida - The Grenada Board of Tourism has refreshed its official Web site with an updated graphic design and expanded navigational features. The enhanced online marketing application serves as the central information conduit to promote international tourism to the islands of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.

"The new design reflects the festive character and color of these beautiful destinations," said Kyle Martell, a senior partner of Plexus M/2 Holdings, LLC. "The fresh look, combined with powerful search features, provides both a pleasurable and informative experience to those visiting the site," he added.

The search engine, designed and developed by Plexus M/2, is database-driven and enables site visitors to locate accommodations and evaluate their facilities, amenities, and rates. The search feature provides profiles of hospitality establishments ranging from the grandest hotels, to all-inclusive resorts, to the smallest inviting inns and guesthouses. A self-administration feature enables timely listings of current specials at hotels and resorts. This tool can upload approximately 50 different databases and can restore the last copy of any database used, if needed.

The site also provides its visitors with timely lifestyle information on activities available throughout the islands. These include special events, entertainment, festivals, regattas, exploring, sports, soft adventure, restaurants, shopping, and more. This site can be visited at www.grenadagrenadines.com
