MIAMI, FL: Héctor González has joined Plexus M/2 (www.plexusm2.com) as digital designer and developer for the Miami-based professional Internet services firm.
A native of Havana, Cuba and most recently from Venezuela, Mr. González studied computer science at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas. An accomplished multimedia graphics designer and programmer, Mr. González has been certified in seven technology applications and languages by the online technology testing organization Brainbench, which is recognized as a foremost testing standard for the Internet industry. He also holds Master certification in the two categories of Macromedia Flash 5 and Written Spanish.
At Plexus M/2, Mr. González will be involved in the digital design and custom development of Web-based business solutions, CD Rom and interactive e-mail marketing campaigns for the company's corporate clientele. He will work under the direction of Plexus graphics director Steve Pickett.
Before joining Plexus M/2, Mr. González was a graphic designer with Soluciones Sayaka, a Web portal headquartered in Caracas, Venezuela. Prior to that, he served for two years as a designer at e-business consultant Planeta Sur, also in Caracas.
